Reflection SheetAssignment:
1) Rewrite the three standards in your own words. How does this Grapes Project assignment relate to the standard?
2) What are the steps you took to complete and do well on this Grapes Project?
In order to do well on the Japan grapes, I had to start early. I worked on it when I had time during spring break. I constantly looked over my notes and when there was a part that I needed more information, I searched it up online. I double checked my work to make sure that I made no errors and included all the things that were needed. I made sure to expalin in detail for each section. I thought out before hand on how I wanted my poster to look. I wanted my poster to look creative but also neat. I made a small sketch of what I wanted my poster to look like on a small piece of paper. Lastly, I pasted everything and made sure nothing would fall off.
3) This Grapes Project demonstrates the following strengths..................
The grapes project demonstrates the strenghts of being able to gather information from diffrent places and summarize it all into short portions. It shows if we know how to use the information that we were given and expand it by looking for additional information and making it fit. It also shows if we are able to identify where the information we learned goes on the grapes project. It also shows how creative I am. By decorating the poster to fit the place we are learning about, I have to put in a lot of thought.
4) I could have improved my work on this Grapes Project by .................................................
I could have improved my work on the Japan grapes project by looking up more information to put on the writting portion. I could have also started a little earlier during spring break so I would have all my information put and wouldnt have to worry about finishing in time. I could have also drew out more pictures instead of printing them.
5) How will you apply the skills you learned from this Grapes Project in either the real world when you are an adult or in other classes while you are still a student?
I will use the skill of being creative and decorative throughout life. It is always good to try to be creative and stand out more. Even when you are writing, you should try to make yours better. In other classes when I have project, I will use the skill of being creative to make it look nice and get a good grade. I will use the information from the grapes project to in the future years of history class and the big history exam that I have to take next year. I will use the knowledge about Japan to understand more on the connections of history from the countries around it.
