Reflection SheetAssignment:
1) Rewrite the three standards in your own words. How does this Grapes Project assignment relate to the standard?
2) What are the steps you took to complete and do well on this Grapes Project?
In order to do well on the Africa grapes, I had to start early. I looked over my notes when I was doing the writing portion of the project. I double checked my work to make sure that I made no errors and that all the information we learned was there. I took my time to draw out the geography of Africa. I wanted my poster to look creative but also neat. I planned out how I would make my poster and labeled all the seas aroung the continent. Lastly, I pasted everything and made sure nothing would fall off.
3) This Grapes Project demonstrates the following strengths..................
The grapes project demonstrates the strenghts of being able to gather information from diffrent places and summarize it all into short portions. It also shows if we are able to identify where the information we learned goes on the grapes project. It also shows how creative I am and how well i'm able to decorate and show what we learned through pictures and the background.
4) I could have improved my work on this Grapes Project by .................................................
I could have improved my work on the Africa grapes project by looking up more information to put on the writting portion. I could have also started a little earlier so that I would have more time to check and decorate my work. I could have drawn out the trade routes instead of just pasting pictures.
5) How will you apply the skills you learned from this Grapes Project in either the real world when you are an adult or in other classes while you are still a student?
I will use the skill of being creative and decorative throughout life. When there is a project I have to do, I will decorate it using creativity. I will also use the knowledge of the history of Africa in future years of history class. Next year, 8th grade, I will also use the knowlge to do well on the big history test which contains all the information from 6th, 7th, and 8th grade.
