Why i deserve to go on the end of the year lel
Do you,
teachers, want a smart and cheerful student? Well, I think I am the perfect
person for you. I would make a great student to take on the end of the year
LEL. I'm on target, I didn’t get to go last year, and I like to travel. Let me
prove it in the following paragraphs.
I am a hardworking student. I worked really hard to be on-target. I studied hard and it paid off when I received my score for the 2013 math final. At first, my score was 97%. I was happy with my score but I had this feeling that I could have done better and I became disappointed with myself. I was sure I double checked and studied really hard for the test. The more I thought about it, the more disappointed I was. The next day, Ms. Ha said we would re-grade our tests because there was a mistake. After, I received my new score of 100%. I also received one of the top 3 scores in 7th grade for the ELA final. I was absent for a while but I worked hard to make up the work I had missed. I also worked hard to learn the things we missed from my friends. All my hard work paid off with my test scores and grades.
I am a new student to RKMS. Even though I became closer with people, I'm not as familiar to people than others. If I get to go on the end of the year LEL, I would be able to make memories with friends and teachers. I'll get to make new memories and experiences. At school my friends talk about last year's LEL and all I can do is stare at them blankly. If I go, I won't be left out of the conversation. If I go, I'll be able to brag to new students next year about how fun it was.
I love to travel. Almost every break we have from school, I try to go somewhere with my mom. I like to go outdoors and have fun. People who know me know that I'm very energetic when I'm excited. If I get to go, I'll be cheering and encouraging people to continue and tell them not to give up. There are always people in a group who say things like, "We're almost there. Just a little bit more." If I go, I'll be one of those people, keeping everyone in a good mood. Because I go to travel a lot, I'm used to sleeping in uncomfortable and unfamiliar places. I've been to a lot of places, but I haven't been to the Grand Canyon. I would really like to go.
At the beginning of this essay, I asked if you needed a smart student and cheerful student to take on the end of the year LEL. In the paragraphs, I gave reasons why I would be a good student to take such as doing well academically, wanting to go because I didn’t go last year, and because I like to travel. Now that I've given reasons for why I'm a great student to take, I hope you choose me for one of the 34-45 students who get to go.
