1) Rewrite the three standards in your own words. How does this Grapes Project assignment relate to the standard?
2) What are the steps you took to complete and do well on this Grapes Project?
In order to do well on the Grapes project, I worked hard. Not only did I start early on the poster, I payed attention in class and made sure I wrote down additional notes if it was important. I thought a lot about how I should decorate my poster to make it look nice. I also took my time to write the information we learned in class into my own words. I also looked up more information on China. I did not procrastinate. Instead, I started early and prepared ahead of time.
3) This Grapes Project demonstrates the following strengths..................
The Grapes project demonstrates my ability to be creative. While doing my grapes project, I had to plan ahead to see if all the texts would fit on the poster board and if it would look nice together. I wanted my poster to look nice and relate to the empire we were learning about. It also shows my ability to separate given texts into categories. The China grapes project shows if I know the facts we learned in class. It shows if I know how to concentrate on my work because we are given a limited amount of time and we have to finish it.
4) I could have improved my work on this Grapes Project by .................................................
I could have improved my work on the project by taking my time to research more on China. If I took more time to research, I would have been able to write more and more in detail. I could have also drawn more pictures instead of printing half and drawing half. I could have also made more countries that surrounded and influenced China.
5) How will you apply the skills you learned from this Grapes Project in either the real world when you are an adult or in other classes while you are still a student?
I will use the knowledge of the China grapes project next year when we have to take a large history test, which includes all of the material from 6th to 8th grade. I will also use the knowledge for the upcoming final. I will review my poster and try to get a good grade. I will also use the knowledge of China's history if I become a history teacher.
